15 footballers go all out for GoalGhana...

The TackleAfrica Football Marathon saw more than 400 games of football played on Clapham Common by 33 teams in 12 hours.

We entered two teams and raised more than £7,000 which TackleAfrica will spend on work with GoalGhana!

Thanks to all 15 players for their titanic efforts, and the hundreds of kind people who sponsored us to this fabulous total. We'll be doing it all again next year!

RAINS football gala

In February 2006 we helped set up and support the first RAINS football gala. 200 kids from 3 different communities got together for a cracking day of football, competitions and music. We even managed to persuade an ex-Ghanaian international to come and show off his skills to the kids. All-in-all a great success.
